Terms of Service

Last updated: 28 May 2026

By purchasing from MakeYourFolio, you agree to the terms below.

1. What we sell

MakeYourFolio designs and delivers a single-page personal website to your own domain. The site is custom-built from publicly available information about you (such as your LinkedIn profile) and illustrated with a stylized portrait in the Wall Street Journal stipple tradition.

One tier:

2. Payment

Payment is one-time, processed by our payment partner Creem.io (Merchant of Record). No subscriptions, no recurring charges. Prices are in US dollars, exclusive of any taxes Creem may add at checkout based on your billing location.

3. Delivery

We deliver within 24 hours of receiving payment. Delivery means: your domain registered, hosting configured under your account, site uploaded and live, and a delivery email sent to you with credentials and the live URL.

4. Ownership

On delivery, the following are yours, in your name:

We retain no operational control over your site after delivery. You can keep it where it is, move it anywhere, modify it freely, or take it down.

5. Revisions and changes

The Deploy tier is delivered as-is and does not include revision rounds. Because the site is plain HTML, any web developer can edit it for typically $50–100. If you'd like us to make changes, we offer additional edits at $200 per round if we have capacity.

6. What we do not promise

We do not guarantee that having a personal website will produce business outcomes (deals, job offers, LP commitments, press coverage). The site is a credibility surface, not a marketing engine.

We do not host or maintain your site after delivery. If your hosting account is misconfigured or your domain expires, you are responsible for fixing it.

7. Refunds

All sales are final. See our Refunds policy for details.

8. Acceptable use

We do not build sites containing illegal content, regulated financial advice without proper disclosures, impersonation of third parties, or material designed to defraud. If we discover such content during the build, we will cancel the order and refund the payment, regardless of the no-refund policy.

9. Limitation of liability

Our total liability for any claim related to your purchase is capped at the amount you paid. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages — including but not limited to lost revenue, lost opportunities, or reputational damage.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms occasionally. The version in force on the date of your purchase is the one that applies to you, unless you continue to use our services after a change.
